Carbon Footprint

A carbon footprint is a measure of the amount of carbon dioxide emissions that can be attributed to an organization, product or individual. ‘Carbon footprint’ has become a widely used term and concept in the public debate on responsibility and abatement action against the threat of global climate change. It had a tremendous increase in public appearance over the last few months and years and is now a buzzword widely used across the media, the government and in the business world. I got 2.8 in a footprint test.
I have lots of daily bad habits that lead to increase the Carbon footprint size. Using some machines that need fossil fuels to work in my farm and driving four wheel cars for long time are the major problem. This problem increases the amount of CO2 in the air. Throwing lots of home wastes such as plastic and glass is the second problem. These kinds of materials are not going to destroy from the environment. The third problem is using electricity. Using many electric devices at home that means using more electricity which depend on fossil fuels products to work.
I am going to display some suitable solutions for those mentioned problems. First of all, using small car and trying to use transportation is good solution for the first problem. The solution for the second problem is using environmental friendly staff. That thing will help in keeping environment. Switching off the lights when we don’t need them and decreasing the dependence on electric machines as much as we can are the third solution. Those solutions are going to decrease the amount of CO2 in the air which helps to decrease the size of carbon footprint.
In summary, starting to correct our bad habits is first step in the right road. Trying to spread the information of carbon footprint effects and the solutions for them will help all people to understand and to help in decreasing of carbon footprint effects.
